Curtain:

• Constructed of solid wood slat sections, 3/4” (19 mm) thick and 1-1/4” (31.75 mm) high, custom-sized to fit the door opening.
• Flat slat surface height of 1.3” (33 mm) for a sleek and modern look.
• Kiln-dried, clear-grade wood for superior quality.

Material:

• Wood: Clear-grade solid wood, kiln-dried for lasting strength and finish.
• Aluminum: 6063 aluminum alloy with T-5 temper, conforming to ASTM B 221 for corrosion resistance and strength.
• Plywood: ¾” thick clear-grade plywood of the same species as the wood slats when available.

Bottom Bar:

• Horizontal bars of tubular aluminum extrusion: Width: 1.10” (28 mm), Height: 2” (50.8 mm), Wall thickness: 0.06” (1.5 mm), wrapped in 1/4″ (6.35 mm) thick solid wood.

Locking:

• Standard: Mortise cylinder locking at the center of the bottom bar (coil side).
• Optional: Mortise cylinder locking at both sides of the bottom bar.

Guides:

• Extruded aluminum guide sections: 1-3/4” (44.5 mm) wide by 2-1/16” (52.4 mm) deep with built-in upset shoulders for curtain retention.
• Bell-mouth design for smooth operation.
• Steel stoppers mounted to guides to prevent over-travel.
• Fitted with wool pile wear strips and rigid PVC stripping to ensure quiet, smooth operation.
• Guide Finish: Clear anodized aluminum or optional wood-wrapped guides to match the curtain wood species.

Counterbalance:

• Extruded aluminum involute tube acts as the pipe barrel, enclosing oil-tempered helical torsion springs for precise counterbalancing.
• Spring tension is adjusted via pinning the spring shaft to a U-lug on the inside of the bracket plate.

Bracket Plates:

• Constructed from 1/8” (3.2 mm) thick steel plate, primer-painted gray for durability.

Hood:

• Standard: 0.040” (1 mm) clear anodized aluminum sheet, press-bent to form a coil enclosure, with fascias up to 144” (3658 mm).
• Optional: 3/4″ (19 mm) plywood with face veneer to match the curtain wood.

Factory Finishes:

• Standard: Unstained Red Oak.
• Optional: Birch, Maple, Cherry, and Mahogany unstained finishes. Custom stains available upon request.
